We start the postgame by meeting an old man.
Jean Couronne Welmond Jour Jovonne XIV is some important guy that's probably French (or whatever is French-coded in the BN/SF setting, BaguetteLand or whatever) who's long dead but remains as a ghost (that you can see in this image because he loves to flicker). He appears after beating the game and he's buddies with a FM-ian named Crown which means...You have to fight his wave-changed form of Crown Thunder. He's Elec but all but one of his attacks aren't in that element. They're more focused on defeating the block, barriers (and auras) and invisible depending on the move (Lance, Hammer and Bowgun respectively). His sole Elec attack can paralyze you making you vulnerable for his other moves, especially since they can be used around the same time.
BTW, you should probably start beating any EX and SP bosses since that's important for something I'll say later.
We also do all of the new sidequests which also includes finally getting the ability to be Brothers with Zack... after dealing with a ten-battle gauntlet that ends with three giant third-tiered Jammers. Zack as a Brother Band sounds neat but he doesn't offer much HP and his bonus is merely an increase on having a Mega Card in your folder which can be replicated if you've got a Dragon BrotherAnyway, at Vista Point, there's a new Wave Hole. It takes us to the post-game dungeon known as Deep Space. The version's Admin (it doesn't say it but it's obvious) says that Mega Man must go through this dungeon in order to get a reward and we shall. Deep Space has doors that require beating the FM-ian Bosses (either regular, EX or SP) high-leveled Viruses for Battle Card collecting (including rare fights with all three versions of a single Virus in case you missed the previous version ones) and alot of locked Mystery Data. Here's a tip, buy a bunch of Unlockers before coming here, I had to go and restock when I didn't have one twice.
There's an optional path that requires having a lonely heart which can either mean deleting all of your Brothers (which is thankfully less painful compared to the DS version)... or getting the Lonely Heart key item by going in a invisible path to a Comp around the final area of the game. Your reward? Geo's dad's Transer and the best weapon in the game, Kaiser Knuckle.
In the main path, you require getting all of the Standard Battle Cards to progress onwards. So equip that S. Finder, increase the encounter rate and escape rate and grind until you've got at least one of each card to continue onward. As you can guess, at the end of the dungeon is the version's Admin which means...A boss fight! This is basically the legit fight against the Admin since it'll have more moves that the shadow version. Such as Pegasus having a frontal ice-slash attack and a blizzard that requires blocking, Leo having a tail (require blocking) and claw (requires dodging since it pierces block) swipes and Dragon firing sakura blossoms (requires blocking) and firing out tornados (requires dodging).
Beating the boss gives you the version-exclusive Mega Card and a suggestion to kindle the six stars and conquer the truly lonely giant. What does that mean? Well, do all of the checkmarks including completing the game, getting all three types of Battle Cards, beat all SP bosses and completing this dungeon. The EX version isn't hard to find but I had shit luck getting the SP version. I eventually got him but the SP version, compared to other bosses, is a gigantic jump in difficulty since he's fast as hell and his attacks hurt. The SP Admins also have their Giga Card move which is a nasty surprise since it'll dish out alot of damage. If you have no time, don't hesitate to use the damage resistance feature. With one cool Big Bang as an appropiate finisher, I finally finish Mega Man Star Force: Pegasus.
Here's me finally screenshotting Andromeda's actual end and Mega getting the last words of the game. But if you've done all marks and beat Andromeda Infinity...You get this to announce that you've finally 100% the game. Of couse, I don't know if I missed any HP Ups but I'm probably am since I'm five levels short but the point is that I'm done with this game. What's next for Star Force?
