Geo prepares his likely last day on Earth before he stops an alien invasion, no pressure. He says farewell to his mother before seeing Vista Point one last time before saying farewell to his friends (well, just Luna and Bud). They try to let him not go through with it but people that can fuse with an alien to stop the invasion is merely four that we know and two of them are not actually canon due to being optional content. Regardless, Luna wants him to come back alive after this.
We head to the part of the space station where we find Aaron sleeping after doing an all-nights work on it. He turns it on and we see a new Wave Road that'll lead to the actual space station.

Sonia follows, wishing to go with him but Geo wants her to stay to protect Earth just in case. With that, he says farewell and pulses in.
When Mega Man arrives to the space station. It's obviously abandoned but oddly contains oxygren meaning that Geo can breath in
because they wanted to enforce Mega Man in the Wave World until the next game onwards. Regardless, the path onward requires the help of the Navi Cards you have and entering various Comps that require creating the constellations (which kinda got ruined due to the new freeform camera in the Legacy Collection since it normally requires you going through the stage to learn it) containing the EX versions of the FM Bosses.
If you've already fought them as overworld encounters, you'd had no trouble, especially with the new EM Viruses that'll offer powerful cards, especially since you'll find the C. Finder which forces battles to only reward you with cards, useful for grinding out the remaining cards for the library.
We also learn that Kevin and the rest are alive... as EM Beings somewhere in space. Mega was their jailer until it was time to take the key and Kevin requested him to hit him and his crew with Z Waves in order to survive in space and escape their planned execution. Mega decides to accept but what eventually attacked by Taurus before using Kevin's discarded transer to follow a signal... that led to Geo which resulted in the events of the game happened.
Geo, however, is glad that his father is still alive even if he has no clue where he is. Regardless, it's time to march onwards...
The being known as the FM King... who is merely just a young child like Geo named Cepheus who was thrusted on the throne and had several attempts of assassination from supposed friends and family, leading to his paranoid state... made worst by the actual mastermind behind this Gemini who manipulating him into being distrustful and leading him to thinking that Planet AM's offer of peace is a lie, resulting in the planet's extinction... save some survivors.
Survivors like Mega who reveals himself to be an AM-ian who went into hiding in Planet FM after it's destruction. So we learn why he's looking for revenge and why he took the key but regardless, since Cepheus has it, it result in this monstrosity known as Andromeda who is apparently formed out of loneliness which means it's the antithesis of the theme of Star Force. The Final Battle begins!
Andromeda is the first final boss of Star Force and sets the trend of giant thing that moves around and shoots missiles as regular attacks alongside having Super Armor and immune to status effects except counter-induced paralysis and poison. It'll also summon meteors and do a wide damaging move that requires blocking. After dishing out half of it's health...
It gets angry and transforms into a humanoid form. Here, you can only attack it when the core glows green but that requires it attacking too. It retains a more intense versions of it's previous moves but also can fire out lasers on two columns depending on it's hands or fire a single column beam at the center. Eventually...
It falls and explodes in a cool manner.
But not out of the fight but unfortunately, so is Geo. Cepheus orders Andromeda to attack but it goes out of control and tries to devour the king. Then suddenly, spirits of Geo's friends and his father appear to encourage him and with one shot of a charged Mega Buster, Andromeda is destroyed for good. I forgot to show it, sorry.
A beaten Cepheus accepts his loss and wants it to get it over with but Geo and Mega aren't going to just kill a kid who was ultimately used as a tool by Gemini. So Geo offers a deal, make amends to those he ruined and to become his friend. Cepheus is touched on such a request before deciding to rebuilt Planet AM to start this atonement. The Admins arrives to help him since other survivors besides the three and Mega are around but Mega will remain with Geo since he's gotten attached to him.
Then the trip back goes wrong as the space station falls apart... including the wave hole where Geo has to return home to. When Geo ends up hearing his father's voice, he finds an room that can disconnect itself from the space station. Things go well at first but the module ends up going out of it's intended path and drifting off to space and Geo doesn't know where Earth is...
But later that night, Aaron develops a plan to help Geo with the help of his friends. When Geo wakes up from a dream talking to his father, he finds out that the plan is his friends to make a link to his transer to show the way home. Geo, having finally understood the power of bonds in his journey, takes a return trip home to see his friends and family.
After the credits showing off the constellations in the forms of the bosses you've fought, we see Geo at his home, finally returning to school. Geo's mom being happy that he's opened up since them and Mega and Harp on the roof, noting the irony of the lonely-driven race like the FM-ians (well Mega is a AM but regardless) ended up getting attached before it scrolls up to the sky and...
THE END... for now.
